UncommonGoods Valentine's Day Foodie Finds + a Giveaway

January 12, 2016

It's hard to believe it, but we're about one month away from Valentine's Day! Whether you're planning on spending it with your significant other, friends, or family, I'm bringing you some gift ideas for whoever that special someone in your life might be. I'll be honest. I hate gift giving. It gives me all kids of anxiety because I never know what to get people. However, it doesn't have to be so difficult. One of the best sites I've found for giving unique gifts that are fun AND useful, is UncommonGoods. I first learned about UncommonGoods about six years ago from a former colleague and I immediately fell in love.

In 1999, founder Dave Bolotsky had a vision to create, “an online marketplace to connect makers and their creations with individuals looking for truly special goods, regardless of the physical distance between the maker and the shopper.” UncommonGoods offers customers an assortment of creative and unique gifts from artists and small manufacturers alike. They’re also very committed to sustainability as a Certified B Corporation,  which is an independent measure and certification of a company’s sustainability. Another great part about UncommonGoods is their Better to Give program which allows customers to choose a partner for UncommonGoods to donate $1 with every order.

To help you with your gift giving, today I'm highlighting 10 foodie finds from UncommonGoods that will make the perfect Valentine's Day gift. UncommonGoods also has special collections for specific recipients, gifts, or occasions making it easy to find gifts for your boyfriend, a unique Valentine's Day gift, or a special piece of jewelry, for example.

Check out my food and drink picks below and be sure to check out the giveaway at the bottom! I've teamed up with UncommonGoods to give away a $50 gift card so you can pick up one of these gifts yourself!

I bought this for the BF several years ago because he's a huge Cubs fan and he uses it all the time. I was able to select a bottle opener made from a bat used in a Cubs game (they have most MLB teams available) and each comes with a special hologram number indicating which game the bat was used in.

  7. I was able to get my baby cousin tickets to Florida Georgia Line concert. She's living in Texas since that's where the Army put her and we miss her so much! She was so happy to go and then she ended up winning pit tickets from the magician that opened for the band. It meant so much to me that she had an amazing night.:)
